Maari Ma Health Aboriginal Corporation is urging its communities to get vaccinated after a positive case of COVID 19 was confirmed in Broken Hill today.

Maari Ma said anyone in its communities who is experiencing even the mildest of symptoms is advised to isolate and get tested.

Maari Ma is providing an extended vaccination service for clients at its vaccination clinic situated at 428 Argent Street, across the road from the Primary Health Care Service.

The clinic is accepting both booked and walk-in clients and will be offering an after-hours service (to 6.30pm Monday – Friday) in the coming days. The Pfizer vaccine is available for all clients aged 12 years and over.

At this stage, it is estimated that between 15 – 20% of the eligible Broken Hill Aboriginal community has been fully vaccinated.
