THE JOY OF READING
A Books in Home launch and Open Day was held on March 2nd at Menindee Preschool where Maari Ma took the opportunity to introduce the oral health program - Tiddalicks.
Many local service providers were involved in the day including health, early childhood and police.
From Maari Ma - the Dental Team, Early Years Project Leader, Narelle Pascoe and Dietician, Mark Lee, were there to help with story telling, providing healthy food and introducing the Tiddalick's Tale - the Lesson of Swig Swish and Swallow.

The Books in Home launch and Open Day at Menindee Preschool
was the ideal time to introduce Maari Ma's oral health program,
Tiddalick's Tale.
Feedback from the day was excellent. The children received books as part of the Pres-school's Books in Home launch and Director / Teacher at Menindee Children's Centre, Hayley D'Ettorre, put together a wonderful montage describing the day with lots of photos.
Maari Ma handed out oral health products and a drink bottle to the children as part of the Tiddalicks program. Tiddalicks encourages pre school aged children to drink water instead of sweet drinks and to swig swish and swallow after meals and snacks to reduce the chance of tooth decay.
The story will be built on in f uture to talk about healthy foods, brushing teeth and attending the dental clinic.
