Come and join us at Maari Ma Health to support World No Tobacco Day on Friday the 29th of May. Around 6 million people in the world die every year from smoking, with approximately 600,000 occurring from second-hand smoke. World No Tobacco Day is about raising awareness of the effects of tobacco on smokers and their families. It also focuses on the benefits of quitting.
- Carbon monoxide screening available
- Dental, nutrition and mental health resources
- Light lunch provided
The Regional Office has now relocated from 304 Oxide St (the old Skillshare building) to 428 Argent St (the old Primary Health Care Service). The Regional Office staff are happy to be back across the road from the Primary Health Care staff and are enjoying their new workspace. We also have our beautiful boardroom table back, although it was a bit of a struggle to get the table into the building!
The Regional Office (428 Argent St) is open from 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday and the phone number is still 8082 9888.
